The anesthetist, scrub tech, and nurse are all mad because they have to work during "off hours", and my job is to get them excited about helping the patient that I have brought into the OR (often for something disgusting like a dressing change of a foul perineal wound). I'm not always successful, at winning them over, but in the end, I know I did the right thing for the patient, and the OR staff end up respecting me more...later on.
