  1. Man, I bet those folks on the call were fast taking notes! Lol. The examples you gave were great. I especially liked the one about saying “yes” to your children instead of “no”.

Why didn’t they teach us this in school man? Learning to sell is one of the best qualities an individual can have. Learning to negotiate is the next best skill. Well, thank goodness for folks like yourself to help us out. I’m glad you mentioned some of the authors of books you have read. It is a good idea for the experts to mention them so people know where they can find out more information.

What you said in the teleseminar has reminded me the need to communicate better and how I can be more effective by choosing a specific choice of words. In communicating with people, I learned from a tape on communication (if you really want to get deep), is that there is also a component where people are more visual, auditory, or kinesthetic in how they understand what you’re telling them. Phrases like, “How does that sound?” and “Do you see where I’m going with this?” and “Are you feeling me now?” So once you know if a person is more likely to be one of these, it will also help to further persuade them.

  2. Dear your example is really great. It is an excellent idea for the experts to state them so people know where they can find out extra information.
